Mike Penning comments on the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Bill

Mike Penning said:
“The Bill sadly passed its first stage in the Commons yesterday and, as promised, I voted against the Bill as did more than half of Conservative MPs. However, the Bill passed with the overwhelming support of both the Labour and LibDem parties.

“When the Bill returns to the floor of the House of Commons for the next stage of the legislative process, I will naturally vote against it again.”

Dissolution of Parliament

This website is not being updated during the election. This site was established while I was a Member of Parliament. As Parliament has now dissolved there are no Members of Parliament until after the Election on 7 May 2015.
