Consultation:

Mike at Hemel Hospital
West Hertfordshire Hospitals Trust is currently planning to undertake a 'consultation' over the future of the trusts three hospitals - Hemel, Watford and St Albans. Previously, the trust has been looking at three options, but they have already dumped the option with centralising emergency care in Hemel.

The options they will now be consulting on are:

  • Emergency Care at Watford with planned surgery at St Albans and a new Surgicentre in Hemel
  • Emergency Care at Watford with planned surgery at Hemel and a new Surgicentre in Hemel.

The consultation will begin on 10th July and end on 13th October - they will report to the Trust Board Meeting on 26th October.
